Who will be in your cocktail hour photos?

Who all are you planning to include in your cocktail hour photos? I know parents, grandparents and wedding party, but what about aunts, uncles, cousins? I have a lot of family and stepfamily members and I want to do all the photos but I’m afraid it will start to get out of hand timing-wise. I can’t just combine everyone and call it a day because there are a lot of divorces. I want people to have photos to put on their mantle that don’t have their ex husband/wife in it. Thanks for your input!

That’s the awkward thing is I am close with some extended family members but not others. I don’t want to choose and play favorites so I think I need to do all or none.

That can be tough but if your photographer has the shot list, let them manage it by calling out the names for every shot to help reduce the transition time. Good luck!

We decided to keep these people to a minimum. Immediate family only and wedding party, no aunts, cousins, etc. It’s just going to take too long to include everyone and I’d rather people enjoy the cocktail hour. We are closest to our immediate family, so that made sense for us. Also it’s a small wedding, so there’d be a random handful of people not included if everyone is outside taking pictures.
