My beloved dad passed away 6 years ago. My 21 yo son is going to be a groomsman. I thought the only one who should walk me down is my son but does that throw a wrench into the procession? Or do I have to have someone give me away at all? My dad gave me away the first time. I don’t really want anyone else to do it besides my son.
Hi Sharon! It sounds like your son is the perfect person for the job ❤️ I don’t think it will set the procession off at all! He can stand on your husband’s side or yours. My brother was my Man of Honor and stood on my side and it was perfect 🌸❤️🌼
I would have your son. My brother (bride's man) and brother-in-law (groomsman) walked down twice. Once with each of our moms and then once the groomswoman/bridesmaid.
Our oldest son would walk me. He will be 24 years old next year. We are getting married again on our 25th anniversary. I think my son is the closest male friend I have. I will be having an intimate destination wedding, and I didn’t invite anyone, just my kids. My dad wasn’t always there for me since he left my mom for another woman 🤷🏻♀️
