My father passed away 7 years ago which makes planning a wedding really hard, but also leaves me with the difficult task of finding someone as special as him to walk me down the aisle. He had 5 kids, myself and my 4 brothers, so I always thought it would be special to have my brothers walk me as they are a part of him. I just have some doubts with this as we are all very different people and as we grow older we're not as close as we once were (I mean we are close it has just changed a bit I guess). Another option is my stepfather who has been in my life since I was 7. He's been a huge part of my life, and a huge supporter of mine. An overall amazing person. I would love to have him walk me and I know he'd be honored, but whenever I think of asking him I get upset as I feel like I'm replacing my dad in a way? I know I'm not, but it's sort of upsetting. I would love to hear any other ideas, any opinions, options or anything of the sort.
