My father hasn't been in the picture since I was a kid and I dont have a step dad. Only one of my biological brothers accepts me as who I am but I'm not sure I want him to walk me down the aisle. I also have my sister who had been there for me through everything. She was the first person I came out to. I am not sure who I should ask to give me away.

    You can ask any person who has had a significant place in your life; any important male figure in your life, mom, grandma, best friend. Or Plot Twist! You and your significant other walk down together. That’s what we are doing.

    You honestly don't have to have anyone give you away. Walking down the aisle will be a very intimate moment so don't be afraid to bask in it on your own. Smiley smile

    No one has to give you away. Lots of brides cut that part out of their ceremonies today. If you want someone to escort you down the aisle, then choose the person who has loved and supported you for you. I bet your sister would be very honored.

    I'm walking down with both my dad and my step dad, one on each arm. I think this part is entirely what you want it to be and what you feel comfortable with Smiley smile
