Who said "I love you" first?

So our first I love you is funny in hindsight. We were on skype, he was at his parents house an hour away and he had something he wanted to tell me. I was mad at him for whatever reason, I don’t even remember anymore. He was so nervous to tell me he loved me that he typed it out as “I love seeing you” and told me to take out the “seeing” and I said “love you too” and he had the biggest, goofiest smile. I can never stay mad at this man.

He did. We had a long distance relationship at the time, we only saw each other on the weekends. We talked all week as much as possible. We had only been dating for a couple months. We were talking one night on the phone and he said "I have to tell you something" I had no idea what was about to come out of his mouth. He said "I wanted to wait to do this in person, but I can't. I can't wait one more day. I love you! I know that might sound crazy because we haven't been together that long, but it is true. I love you and I am so excited to see where this relationship takes us." Everything he said, I felt in my heart. I was so happy he had the guts to say it first. I mean, he had me in the palm of his hand before that, but that sealed the deal. He is my soulmate. No doubt about it.

I did accidently after we had a romatic night together and joking around it slipped out and of course he noticed it and said something about it like did you just say you love me?! I did not realise what had come out of my mouth and try to play it off and he was surprised i think too by it and we both just changed the subject real quick lol later on he said it to me for the first time on another romantic encounter and i of course said it back...

This question always makes me laugh haha. We were both 16 when all this happened, so please don't judge my childish ways haha.

The first time I said I love you, I had just gotten my wisdom teeth pulled, so I was waaaay out of it haha. FH responded with "just get some sleep, dear" haha.

Then the first official (sober) time I told him I loved him, I did it through a letter because I was super chicken about saying it out loud because I knew my heart would be broken if I said it out loud and he didn't reciprocate it! Thankfully, he thought it was a romantic gesture and said I love you back!

He did!....he came over one night and kept telling me he needed to tell me something. While in the kitchen he said I need to tell you that I love you. I was speechless ❤

He kept trying kinda (yeah its a long story) but I finally was sure and said it kinda opening the flood gates for him

My FH said 'I love you' first!!

He said I love you first.

He did. He was boarding a plane for a 2 week trip and texted me "I'll text when I land. I love you!". I wasn't sure if he had meant to text that since we hadn't been dating for very long. Of course when I tried texting him bask hos phone was off😂

Me. Ugh. I was still a bit drunk and we were cuddled up on a bed the morning after the party and he just smiled and said "I love you too". He said he loved me the moment he saw me

LOL WELLLLLLLLLL I depends on how to look at it, about 4 months in one of my best friends was messaging back and forth with him about how he better treat me right and be patient with me (I had met him about 2 months after leaving an 8 yr emotionally abusive relationship) and he told her, not knowing that her and I were together sitting around a bonfire, drinking that night and she was showing me everything he said LOL, but ANYWAYS he told her that he doesn't use the word "love" often or lightly but he loved me and wasn't going anywhere.

I officially told him first, about a month or so later on Christmas lol

He said it first. We were sitting on his couch the one day and he just came out and said it. I was taken by surprise, but I told him that I loved him too.

He Did! We had been together a month. We fell for each other very fast but waited over 5 years to become engaged.

That would be me. I knew he already meant it, too, but he was stubborn and wouldn't say it until I did.
