Who said "I love you" first? You or your fiancé(e)?

TECHNICALLY he did. When we first started dating he said a good way to chase him away would be to drop the “L” word... so I opted for telling him that I hated him all the time. We didn’t start saying I love you until HE said it to me... and we haven’t stopped since!!

We both did!

Basically we were hanging out one night VERY early into our relationship (I'm talking two or three weeks lmao) and he made me laugh extremely hard and in the fit of laughter I said 'oh my god I love you'. He didnt hear me but I got embarrassed and wouldn't tell him what I said since it was so early in and i didnt want to scare him off. But he finally realized and told me he loves me and I said it back again.

He did. It was lovely and beautiful and perfect and private

He did! TWICE, once over ice cream as we were getting into the car, and I kinda missed it! Then I said it first after a “fight” we got into after I realized it was a silly argument and not worth it.

The first time I had surprised him by making his favorite dinner and buying his favorite beer and he was like “I love you” then turned around and I was like “uhhhhh did he mean it or....?” And didn’t say it back 🤦🏻‍♀️ A week later, we went on our first weekend getaway together and got blitzed at dinner and he said it in our hotel room. Then two days later was like “well, I think I meant it but I’m not really comfortable saying it” and essentially took it back haha! Fast forward a month and he said it for real, and meant it, and says it often now! Lol. Was worth the wait!

He did, on our first date. He apparently had had a thing for me for like 4 years prior to our first date.

Once he said it he immediately blushed, hid his head in his shirt, and averted my gaze. It was so adorable.

My fiancé did. I said I love you too so fast he had barely finished her three words. It was automatic and so wonderful I’ll never forget it.

He said I love you first, I just got out of a two year relationship which at the time was my longest and he was also the father of my youngest so I was scared to love again

He did! I didn't want to scare him by saying it too soon but he was ready to say it

Me, it slipped out earlier than I planned, but he surprised me and said it right back!

He did! I think it was after a couple months, maybe even a few weeks and I was like what the heck!! It took me about 7 months until I said it sorry babe!

I wanted to say it after a month but I refuse to go first in any relationship. He said it after a loooong five months. I thought maybe he wouldn’t. But after that he said it all the time.

His mom asked us if we loved each other and we both said yes but I directly said it to him first 👌🏽

I said it first. As he was leaving my mom's house, I told him I loved him, pushed him out the door and slammed it in his face lol. Then he told me over the phone after that.
