Who rides in the limo?

JuneBride, on July 6, 2016 at 10:58 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 1 12

My ceremony will be at a Catholic Church, then we head to the reception venue to take pics. Who beside the wedding party rides in the limo? The wedding party+parents+anyone I want in my pictures? (Grandparents, kids of the WP?) or is it just the WP? What about wedding parties + 1? At this rate I'll need 4 limos!! lol Thank you in advanceSmiley smile

Totally up to you and the amount of space you have! To help speed things along it would be great to have everyone who will be going to take pictures in the limo, because then you'll all arrive together and won't be waiting on any stragglers Smiley smile

What I would do - have parents, siblings, and bridal party in the limo(s). Have other family members like grandparents drive separately. Likely, you will not need them for as many pictures. You can take the pictures with those people first, then "dismiss" them so they can head to the cocktail hour. You could even send your siblings, parents, whoever is "extra" back with the grandparents so they can get to the cocktail hour as well.

We are just doing bridal party. Parents will ride separate -- which they didn't mind at all. I think our party bus will be so much fun with just the BP!

We are doing all of the family formals in the church so we don't have to worry about fitting other family into the limo.

I really wanted to have our BP's plus 1's on the bus but I don't think we will be able to fit everyone. but I do agree with @smat that it will be super fun to have just the BP to party with between the ceremony and reception.

I booked two limos one for the bridal party and one for the parents and people I want in my photos. Then I booked an antique car for FH and I. It just made more sense to me that way than having to deal with a bunch of people in different cars

I've never been in a wedding where transportation was provided for the wedding party. I was thankful for that because after being away from my DH all day, it was nice to unwind for a minute with some alone time together.

I got a limo that fits 29 people I think 22 of us going in the limousine. My bridal party, ushers, ring beer and flower girls. We are getting married in a park so we will be doing pictures there first.

We are planning on a limo/party bus to pick us up from the ceremony. It will just be us and the bridal party. And possibly +1's (some will be attending to children, etc. and will not want to come). We haven't nailed it down...

It's just me FH and bridal party. I'm actually not sure what to do with the SO's of my BP.

Depending on the package and distance, my sister had the limo drive her fh and gm to the church then came back for the bm (and ring bearer because he was with me). My mum came in the limo with us. My dad requested (and paid for) a vintage car for him and my sister.
