Who lifts my veil?

A.L.S., on October 11, 2016 at 10:22 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5

I'm wearing a veil with a blusher for my ceremony . I don't have a father and I'm walking myself down the aisle . Who would lift my veil? I want to have it out of my face for the ceremony only needing it to walk down the aisle .

I lifted my own veil. You may want to do that. There's nothing wrong with being independent.

Your fiance. You really don't need it to walk down the aisle unless you want it; I haven't seen a blusher in years. Okay, maybe once.

Will your mom/grandma/other close family member be at the end of the aisle? You could stop right by her, have her lift your veil, then give her a hug before going up to your groom. Also moms tend to want you to look your best so she'll make sure it's laying correctly behind you.

My husband lifted it and my BMs fixed the back for me.

You or your fiance. There will be a moment of primping once you get to the head of the aisle, while everyone is seated. An attendant can help you fix it so it lays well once flipped back, just as they should help by adjusting your train and holding your bouquet.
