I am actually mother of the bride. I was just looking on Jen Jen site and couldn't believe the beautiful dresses and the low price. Dad always said....if it's too good to be true it usually is. Well...being a skeptic....i googled "what is Jen Jen House". Wow......I couldn't believe the sites stating that this is a "knock off" business in Hong Kong and is illegal. All of the comments I read except for maybe two, were terrible to say the least. If you are considering ordering from this site as I was for my mother-of-the-bride dress, please just google what I gave above and see for yourself. I believe you will save yourself some gray hair.

My dress just arrived from Jen Jen House - it is awful and I will not wear it. Badly stitched. Dirty. Hideous colous. HUGE! Will cost more than the dress was to have it altered.

The bridesmaid dress was ripped and cost me $125NZ to get it fixed.

    Would never use them again.

They stopped communicating. Didn't accept the dresses back.

I'm not sure about dresses, but I purchased a beautiful veil from JenJen. It was better than the picture. I actually had a 5 star experience with them, no problems at all. I believe people go in with the wrong expectations and get disappointed and then get mad because they screwed up in thinking this site is a bridal boutique. Grow up. Besides that...if you're looking on a site like that you must be looking for a cheaper alternative. Ladies lets be real!! Buy the cheaper dress, set your priorities appropriately, and use the extra money to begin your new life. What's the big deal, weddings are so overrated anyway. The point is the MARRIAGE not the WEDDING.

    Hello all,

Does anyone have anything positive to say about JenJen House? I ordered a dress and stupid me did not do enough research beforehand. I cancelled the order within the "24 hours" and all I get are confirmations that they received the email, but no cancellation! Yikes...so worried that I'm gonna end up with something terrible. Any silver linings?

I had no way of knowing what the color would look like based off of an image that is the size of a penny posted to the JenJen web. Some companies allow customers to order fabric swatches before buying, JenJen didn't. So, I ordered 1 instead of all 6 for my bridesmaids. Also, I ordered a dress that was not customized (a basic size 8) and based on the website gave me the understanding that they take returns. This was NOT HOW I WAS TREATED AT JENJEN. When I realized the dress was not what I wanted, I opened up a ticket. My response from them was "Our return policy is different from those off-the-rack. We would accept the return only when the dress is defective, wrong size or wrong color." and "It is really unfair for our company to shoulder the responsibility. It will be a problem for us the deal with the unwanted dress or sell it to others." SHOULDER THE RESPONSIBILITY? What kind of company is this? Apparently not a company that relies on customer satisfaction and thus repeat business.
