Oh no! Sorry to hear it's going rough! What are you stuck on? My wedding planning is pretty much complete! My original date was July 2020, but we postponed to July 2022 due to COVID. So, our wedding is sitting at around 90% planned, and we're not actively working on planning anything for it at the moment. We'll likely pick it back up this summer to get that last 10% done!

We booked our venue, photographer, and caterer so feeling really good about that! All the other pieces seem like we can wait some time—once those three things were done I felt a lot better.

I feel like the venue and the guest list are the hardest parts of wedding planning!! It should get easier once you book your venue. Do you have ideas of places you like? Have you started venue tours yet?

Check out some non-traditional venues, such as an aquarium or a winery or even a local park! You could also have the ceremony at one location, and hold the reception at a local restaurant or community center hall or hotel banquet room. Those are typically cheaper options than traditional wedding venues, and can be just as beautiful (if not even more beautiful)!
