June 14th here! I am picking my dress up on May 23rd. Our RSVP due date is on Monday- we are still waiting on quite a few. Need to buy a basket for programs. We need to finalize our music with the DJ. But other than that we are all done!

I can't buy another thing, I have no more room to store it! I "think" I have everything. My dress is perfect and finished. My bridesmaids dresses are being altered this week. I have their gifts and jewelry, but we are still undecided on their shoes. I have all my flowers and need to finish them. I need to order his wedding ring, taper candles and the plastic dishware for the children. Venue is paid for, Photographer is paid after pics are completed. I think all that's left is the food. My date is June 15th. Not doing RSVP cards, did an event and people have responded there. If they aren't online, they have told us personally. Am I forgetting anything?

I still haven't figured out the bridesmaids shoes either or gotten the groomsmens clothes even though we know what they're wearing. It's not like tuxes or anything, just shirts and ties. Date twins! 💜6/15💜 all I have left to do is finish paying for food , tables & chairs, and final seating arrangements. The time is going by so fast and I'm constantly feeling like I'm forgetting about something ! #crunchtime

I had my first dress fitting in February and the seamstress said I won’t see it again until 2 weeks before the wedding 🙈.. RSVPs are coming in steady.. we have a mock seating chart drafted and will finalize once RSVPs are back.. Wedding planner is handling the catering, all decorations and signage.. i have been purchasing BM & GM gifts over the months but still need to finalize them.. we are on target to have everything paid off by June 1st..MUSIC IS MY BIGGEST THING TO DO! why is this so difficult???

June 23rd

There are very few things that I am responsible for. I've purchased half of my brides-people gifts. I still need to add to them. I need to find a veil. My mom had wanted me to wear my sister's, but my sister says it's too short for me. I bought my wedding sneakers a few weeks ago from Kate Spade. I decided on only sneakers because I had tendinitis in my left foot at the time and couldn't decide on any other wedding shoe except for the sneakers. The tendinitis ptactically made the decision for me. I don't need the aircast anymore, but my foot still has some healing to do before the shoes could fit properly. There may be a few other things.

View Quoted Comment That's exactly how I felt to begin with, but my mom and sister were like, "you need something nicer for the ceremony and pictures." After my foot injury, that changed into, "no one's gonna see under the dress anyway." Well...duh!

After all, my mother gets it. She severely broke and dislocated her ankle two months before my sister's wedding. She had to have emergency reconstructive surgery with plates put in and some serious physical therapy so that she could wear an aircast and manage on a scooter and crutches in time for the wedding. She worked hard and she still managed to walk her down the isle! (In Jewish weddings, the mother and father can give the bride away together.)

My wedding is June 28th!

I’m 9 hrs away from my hometown (where the wedding will be) so I will finalize centerpieces, and all the other decorations once I’m in town. I’ll be going home on June the 9th to buy, and complete everything. My final (hopefully) dress alterations appointment is for May 20th. We have the “guest book” ready which is a piece of wood that our branding iron will hand on. Our arch still needs to be built. My fiancé just made our concrete cake stand, but we won’t take it out of the mold until we go to Houston for the wedding. I still need to design all of the place cards, table numbers, camera instructions, and figure presents out. Also this weekend we have to go buy my fiancé’s blazer, and my exit jumpsuit! Lol!!
