Who hosts the bridal shower? (Sincerely sorry if this is a repeat)

Anyone can host it. My shower was hosted by my MOH and BMs.

Theoretically, it shouldn't be a mom, a MIL or grandma, but that piece of etiquette seems to have gone out the window.

Agree with the other ladies, whoever offers When I was my sister's MOH I hosted. No one else offered, but I just assumed it was my job!

I'm still newly engaged so the shower hasn't come up yet, but I imagine my MOH (sister) and mom will probably offer to co-host.

Thank you everyone! My family, particularly my mom and grandma, are all about being traditional and proper etiquette. I imagine there will be tons of number swapping at the engagement party!
