Who else thinks this app is ridiculous?

There is a way. If you click on the task, it opens another window and gives the option to check it off as done, etc... or you can remove task from list all together. I figured it out cause although I like this site, I too will not need half the stuff listed and so removing it makes it less cluttery.

You can. You can delete tasks, you can edit tasks already created, or create new ones.

You can. I have deleted multiple tasks and have deleted things they have listed in the budget area

I've removed stuff from my budget and task list. I just don't think you can delete any of the stuff from the actual vendor manager page. If we can and anyone knows how, please let me know.

You absolutely can delete tasks, like everyone above said.

FWIW this app was SO HELPFUL when planning my wedding. I ended up not missing a single to-do item, and it helped me come in UNDER budget. So I was super thankful for the checklists and whatnot.

This app is awesome. I am 54 days away from my wedding and the checklist totally helped me remember some items and I added others. It also helped me find vendors and talk with itherbrides who were going through the same things. Yes, I edited the checklist, but there are a lot of things that require your attention during a wedding, the checklist list is amazing. I also made my wedding website from here too.

This app actually has A LOT of customization to it. You can delete the tasks you dont need. You can edit your budget and it keeps track of RSVPs nicely. I found it to be one of the most helpful apps.

Its probably better to figure that stuff out before bashing it haha.

The checklist is a full detailed and itemized list for nearly every detail a bride will need. It’s a generalized, long list to cover all of the brides. Tailor it to what fits your wedding (as PPs have said, you can edit and delete the check list and budget items), and then it’ll work for you. You don’t have to go trashing the app as stupid because it includes things you won’t do. Others may want it. I found the checklist extremely helpful (I combined the checklist from here, as well as The Knot), and feel like I’m not missing anything. I love it!

If you think it’s ridiculous, then why not delete it rather than bashing it?

I love the app. Just customize it the way you need it. Everyone isn't going to need everything listed because everyones budget isn't going to be the same.

This app has been extremely helpful to me, from the checklist to the forums.

Like others say you can delete things or even mark them as finished if it is something you are not doing. Some people are having upscale weddings and do need to worry about all that stuff.

I appreciate this app. I love that it has kept me on track and also helped me find vendors. wouldn't have found my awesome cake(Twiggs Bakery), hair and makeup (Blushed by Brink), & venue(Steele Canyon Golf) without this app. Also the forum is amazing, it shows you that other people are going through the same things..

Well I personally love this app. Its a nice way to talk to other brides to be about questions and get inputs. However, you are more than able to delete the things you don't need on the task list, along with add things that are not there that is important to you.

It does have some shortcomings that I wish they would fix but your issue is easily remedied like others have posted.
