Who Do I hire to Decorate the Venue?

I dont know if you have money in your budget but we don't so my cousins & friends and mom will be setting everything up while I am relaxing/getting ready.

I would as the companies you rent from if they charge a set-up/break down fee because some do & some don't & some don't even do that at all. Also, ask your venue if they have anyone to do that free of charge or that you can hire this way they are familiar with the venue

My venue assigns an employee to assist with our wedding plans about 4 months before the wedding. Depending on how that meeting goes, I have a back up plan with my family helping..you can try a "day of" coordinator if it's in budget..I'm still thinking about hiring one.

My family is helping but i'm a little worried that they will put things where and how I want them. I am very particular...wonder where or who we can call for a "day of" helper! I sure could use one!

That's what a decorator such as myself does! We bring all the decorations you choose, set them up...make it beautiful, then come back at the end of the night to take it all away! Unfortunately it can be hard to find us as most of the planning sites don't have a "Decorator" category...so you might find us under Florists or Rentals. Your best bet is to do a google search for "wedding decorator, your town, your state".

I could have my wedding planner do it but I want the place to look exceptional (i.e., someone who does this for a living). I figure this type of person would know best how to make everything look wonderful.
