Cassie, on June 16, 2020 at 12:34 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6
Hello! For the wedding, who do you buy gifts for? In my experience i know you buy a gift for the wedding party, but who else? What type of gifts are good to buy for those on a tight budget?
Thank you!

Wedding party, people often buy for their future in laws, sometimes a small gift for your partner...

It doesn't have to be expensive, but meaningful is most important, in my opinion. I bought jewelry fitting to the things my bridal party and future daughters like with little notes for each. We're getting the guys nice watches...but if your groomsmen like liquor, a small flask and fill it with their favorite drink or something along those lines could work, too Smiley smile

We bought gifts for our bridal party, our parents, and our reader (my grandmother).

I kept it really simple, FH, bestman, and the dads got fun socks to wear wedding day, my moh is getting earrings and a hair pin that matches mine, and the moms are getting fun coffee mugs. Nothing crazy by any means, and I found it all on amazon

Our wedding party, our officiant who is a good family friend doing it for free and our parents. We are doing jewelry and cuff links for the party, a gift card to a restaurant for our officiant as well as his tie and socks to wear day of and a framed picture of us with our parents from the wedding

I think generally the wedding party and both sets of parents especially if they helped contribute to the wedding. Sometimes the bride will buy her groom something small for the wedding day (ie. cuff links). I'd more so cater gifts to each person and what their interests are or get a gift card with thank you notes attached.
