Who buys the wedding band? me? Fh?

I'm probably going to buy both!

My band came in a set with my engagement ring so FH bought that. I bought his wedding band.

FH don't currently share accounts yet, and he bought my wedding band when he bought the engagement ring. It wasn't an official set, but it matched the engagement band and he knew what I wanted. I finally drug him to the jewelry store this past weekend and he did end up picking a band out but he refused to let me pay for it or even help. I was planning on buying it, or helping at the very least if he chose something I can't pay in full right now. But he insisted since I have been paying for most of the other wedding stuff.

If he hadn't bought my wedding band, I honestly probably would have bought it myself unless he just absolutely insisted.

I bought my fiance's band, and he bought mine. It wasn't a stressful purchase for either of us so it just worked out that way!

I always thought it was he buys mine and I buy his also. So that is what we are doing. I guess it could go the other way around. I think of it as a gift to each other. Our finances aren't combined and won't be in totality even after we are married because I will have student loans that I don't think it's fair he should pay off. I think it's a different scenario for everyone.

We picked out our bands together since we wanted ones that match and paid for them from our wedding savings account.

He bought a bridal set that came with the band so I never had to think about it.. however, i know that he would buy it.
