White linens with ivory dress?

You are over thinking it. Unless you will take a picture lying on the table the color of the linens and your dress do not matter

My dress is ivory and we are having white linens! I don't think it will clash at all. YOU are the bride! You could wear purple and you would still be the bride and beautiful!

Literally no one will notice. No one will care. No one will even see you next to a tablecloth for most of the night.

You definitely do not have to match the table clothes That would be really matchy-matchy!

I found this thread because I have the same question! My dress is "diamond white", napkins are white, and I have to decide on white or ivory tablecloths and chair covers for a daytime wedding. I don't want to blend in with the tables, so I thought ivory might be better to give a little contrast. Our colours are blues and greys.

@Sarah, having the option to choose would drive me crazy. I am so indecisive. Since you're dress is diamond white, it probably doesn't exactly match the ivory or white chair covers and linens right? I think using white is a safer bet, just because white linens are super common and they are what you mostly see at weddings. However the ivory sounds like an interesting idea because your dress will definitely stand out more against it and look cleaner as opposed to looking dingy next to white (that's my personal concern for my wedding)
