White dresses for engagement party/photos

You could always check somewhere like Ross. They always have a huge dress selection.
I got my one dress from Walmart and the other from Lulu’s.

I know it's online, but check Amazon, especially if you have Amazon Prime. They have a lot of dresses available, and free returns if it doesn't work out. Otherwise, check the department stores in your area, many of them usually have decent options.

You know the current problem of in-person stores are you can’t use dressing rooms. I’d suggest Amazon Prime Wardrobe, you can get up to 7 outfits to keep / try for 7 days before “buying”
Your other option is to try a non chain boutique which may allow dressing room use

White House Black Market usually has a handful of nice white dress options. If you are willing to spend a bit more, BHLDN has cute short dresses as well as regular wedding dresses.

Nordstrom! If you have a Nordstrom near by, a number of them carry SOME Lulus dresses so you can get an idea about sizing and quality. But like another poster alluded to, a number of stores are not allowing try ons during COVID.


Also, more bridal boutiques are starting to carry little white dresses specifically for your purpose. So look up your local bridal shops online and see if they have a little white dress section.

I find a lot of cute dresses at Windsor. Akira sometimes has cute white dresses too

Try local department stores: Target, Ross, Burlington, Marshall's, Old Navy, Nordstrom Rack, Dillard's, etc

Ugh, this is my problem - I have a pile of dresses I bought online that I need to return! Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack have a ton of white dresses in a variety of styles, and you can return them for free to a store. I also second Amazon Prime for this reason, and some of the dresses I was finding on other sites I could also find on Amazon. So many online boutique retailers I found wouldn't accept returns for a full refund - just store credit - and I didn't want to take that chance with a place I likely would never shop at again. I think Old Navy dressing rooms are open (at least, they were a month ago in Maryland). I wonder if it varies state by state? Good luck!
