So how would you ladies feel if your fiancé said his groomsmen were going to wear white ?

I think something like a vest would not bother me as long as it had a color coordinated tie and was not the same white as my white.

What specifically would be white? Suits? Shirts? I would be against full suits that were white. 1) EVERYONE wearing that much white makes everyone look washed out and too bright in pictures. Not a fan of that. 2) I feel like a bunch of men in white suits would be so distracting during the ceremony. Big no. I would suggest and discuss other options.

White shirts with different colored pants and tie/bow tie would be fine.

Are you wearing white? It does seem like a lot of white even if you have like a blush or colored dress.

This would get a big n-o from me. Maybe (and only maybe) just a white jacket or a white vest would be ok, but even the jacket might be a bit too much. As a PP said, I think it would be too bright and too distracting.

Id say a big no as well. Especially if the white is different from yours it will look wierd but I say that only because I just saw a friend who got married new years day and her husband had her makeup all on him. Just my opinion no and your theme allows him to have some REALLY great choices in colors besides all white.

Personally I don't like the look but if it's what he wanted then I wouldn't have said anything about it

White suits are fine but I wouldn’t want the groomsmen wearing white unless it was a all white wedding or I’m wearing a different color other than white.

A white tux jacket or white shirt? Cool. But the all-white suit look seems weird. Too much white and I’d worry if my dress was off-white or ivory it would look dirty next to too many white suits.

It wouldn't be my first choice, but it's also not my decision what my FW's side of the WP wears.

Why not? Especially if it’s a spring or summer wedding, it could look nice.

My brother got married and he and ther best man wore white. It was just the two of them. It looked really nice, as the accent color was a bright orange. My husband wore a white suit but the groomsmen wore gray suits. It really looked nice. I have no issues with the white. I got these pictures from Pinterest.

I would try and dissuade him from this. They don’t look as classy or classic. Unless you want to go for New Orleans or Vegas style....

Given my sick sense of humor and lack of filter rn my comment would be “Fine. You want them to wear white, when that colour is reserved for the BRIDE?! Ima wear a BLACK wedding dress!” “Yeah, the dress I got I will have died black. That way there’s NO wonder, or competition, who’s the bride!”

    Best of Luck!

I think it depends! Are you thinking to do all white? That might be a little much...but the pictures that Summer posted above are nice.

I personally love the look of an all white wedding ever since Bella's nightmare wedding in twilight. I love that it makes everything elegant, light, and airy, but i can also totally understand why you may be upset.

I think that you and your fiance should come to a compromise. Maybe they wear white vests and white shirts and ties, but with a light grey or black suit? that way he has a lot of white in the look, but not all white .
