Which veil length for this gown?

Rachel, on August 30, 2020 at 8:33 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 27
Hi, ladies....

The Markle gown is now my #1 favorite. It has a wonderfully beautiful matching veil, but I don’t know which length would look better? It comes in either fingertip or cathedral. I have a photo of each, what do you think? I also put a photo of the dress, too, as a reminder ☺️Which veil length for this gown? 1Which veil length for this gown? 2

I think the fingertip would be perfect. It won’t take away from the back of your beautiful dress or your hair!

Do you think the cathedral one would take away from the back of the dress? I’m only planning on wearing it for the ceremony and for some photos, but the veil looks to be a little transparent so maybe it won’t be too bad! Which veil length for this gown? 10

Both are beautiful! I tend to lean more towards fingertip length veils, I personally find cathedral length veils overwhelming, but I love them on other people so I think either would be gorgeous!

The veil looks like it's transparent enough to where the dress still shines through (I still see the details on the dress through the veil), and it almost seems to create a frame around the dress! In my opinion, the cathedral length definitely adds to the overall look, I don't think it takes away from it. I do think either veil would look beautiful with that dress though, I love the lace on the edges of both veils! Definitely try both veils when you try on the dress, and pick the one that feels best to you!

I love cathedral length veils, but I’d also take into account venue. For me, having an outdoor mountain wedding, I knew a longer veil would be visibly dirty as soon as I walked down the aisle.

I think either will look great with that dress, and I definitely think with as sheer as it appears the cathedral length doesn’t detract from the back of the dress.

I personally love cathedral length veils. If you want those veil photos with it lifted in the wind that's really the length you want to go with.
I say try on both when you try on the dress and see how you feel.

This can go either way for me. The dress alone is beautiful all by itself. Both veils would just enhance its beauty. Location would probably be the deciding factor for me.
