Which one looks better with my dress? Number 1 or 2 or neither lol? It's gonna be an outside ceremony in January.

I would recommend 2 since you'll be outside in january.

I like the 1st better but the 2nd is definitely warmer looking. I guess it depends on where you are? Outside in Alaska? Hawaii? Florida? Michigan?

So I know it can vary but I think you’d be safe with the first if you’re staying upper 50s to 60s which is possible. Is it possible to buy both and return one once you know more about temperature?

I agree with this. I like the first one better, but second would probably be better for colder weather. What is the temperature typically like in January in your area?

I thought about getting a fur one,but I wasn't sure if it would take away from the dress.

I'd say the 1st one because the 2nd may over power your dress. The 1st one looks like the right length/material where you'll still be able to get the full affect of your dress. I hope thatade sense lol. The 2nd is pretty but I just don't think it fits the dress.

I like the first one because it's more delicate looking and will match your dress better! I'm also from Georgia, and know how finicky our weather can be haha!

If buying both and returning the one you don't use isn't an option, you can always try a nice lightweight pashmina? Pashmina's will keep you warm in cooler weather, yet still look romantic/dainty like!

The picture I've included has an example of what a pashmina would look like (bridesmaids are wearing it), and a fur shawl (bride is wearing)!

Thank you. I think I might lean towards the fur shawl. It actually does look better

Does your dress have a train? What do you think about a wedding cloak? It would add to your wedding attire but it looks so elegant in the winter. Especially when you take pictures in snow. There are so many types to choose from.

I like number 1 but it definitely won't keep you warm.

Ooh, go with fur! I had a faux fur stole, and everyone complimented it! It accented my dress perfectly. I got it on sale at Macy’s for like $40 (as opposed to $110!) Sorry I don’t have a better full image, but here it is. It provided warmth without being too hot, and was easy to put on and remove for photos.
