Which necklace?

Okay, ladies...


I am posting two different types of necklaces that I’m considering. I am partial to the choker-like one, however my Mom says she likes the longer one. This will go with a spaghetti strap sweetheart neckline dress and I am wanting to keep my jewelry choices very minimal. The necklace will be rose gold to match my wedding rings. What do you think?     I’m in the minority here but I like the second one a lot better. It’s more classic and will never go out of style. I’m not a fan of chokers, and to me they are unflattering in photos because they tend to create a line or cut you off, whereas the longer shape elongates and slims the neckline. Just my take on it. 🤷‍♀️

    Agreed. Even though the choker is lovely I do think it will date and may ‘cut you’ in photos from different angles. The other one is a safer bet Smiley smile

    I prefer the 2nd one. I feel like the way it falls goes nicely with the “dip” in the sweetheart neckline. Then the daintiness of the chain is nice with the spaghetti straps.

    Both are so pretty, but I think I like the first one a bit more just because of the design! Though I do agree with the previous comments that there's a risk that it might not photograph well. The second one would be a beautiful option too!

    Ooooh the choker is really gorgeous, but you should definitely take a few practice photos in your dress with the necklace on to make sure it doesn't distract from the neckline of the dress! ❤️

    I love both these choices, so I say wear one for the wedding and the other for the rehearsal dinner! ✨

    I think the 2nd one with the type of dress you have. I love the choker but I think it might cut off the flow of things in the particular wedding dress you have.

    I like the choker too but I agree about chokers sometimes not elongating the neck. Maybe put each one on with your dress and take a full length photo and see which one looks better in the photo.

    Do you have pictures of you in the dress with these necklaces or similar (choker vs. pendant)? That would make it a lot easier to decide.
