Our menu tasting is coming up in a couple of weeks. We will eventually have to decide which package of liquor we'll want and am not sure which to choose.
Whenever i order drinks, I order well liquor for cocktails (it's a smaller amount used and you never actually taste the liquor so premium is a waste) and top shelf for drinks like cognacs, scotch or martinis. I don't think our venue will allow us to mix the packages. I think most of our guests who drink, all drink some form of a cocktail. There are a few, that I know of, who drink cognac, rum and coke or Crown and Ginger Ale.
We've gone back and forth between only doing wine and beer or hosting a full open bar. If we go the full bar route, do you recommend premium liquor or well?
