So I’m torn between these two style of Hayley Paige dresses. I am a thicker girl but I’m also 5’ so I’m trying to decided which one would look best on me. Help!

Hmm, this is a tough one. I am also 5' tall with some curves and considered dresses in both styles. I think looking to your venue for cues might help you decide.
I actually liked the idea of showing off my curves like dress #2, but it was a little too constricting for our venue (outdoors) so I went with one more like #1 (less volume in the skirt).
Have you tried both on?

Can you try them both on? I love them both, I think I like the first one a little more but I’m a sucker for a mermaid. But if you can try them both on, do so and see which looks better on you.

You've definitely got to find a way to try both of those dresses on Brianna - they're beautiful! 😍
I think it really depends on which dress and shape you prefer on your body! I'm short and plus size but heaviest around my middle so I always tend to wear dress styles with empire waists and thought ballgowns looked better on me in general.
For reference here's me (5' 2", street size 16/18) in a Hayley Paige ballgown:
