Dedicated November 2020

Which Decision?😩

Me and fh are leaning towards cutting our guest list to about 60-75 and still having virtual, but we’re also leaning to keeping the original number 150 and then in October ask if they will/will not attend but still include virtual in that as well. Our wedding is in November what should we do??

Does your state have any current restrictions? At the end of the day that’s what can determine it. Personally I would keep my current number and do as you said, ask if they still feel comfortable depending on what happens with Covid. Virtual will definitely still be a good idea though!

I think it all depends on where you are getting married and what the current restrictions are. We are planning our October wedding in FL and have a guest list of 50 (always that way) and currently don't need to reduce our count.

Great! I think I will go that route. It’ll be in Texas and we’ve been a hotspot for quite some time. I haven’t looked into restrictions yet because I know for my state it changes a lot but I will look into that.

Oh yes Texas is one of the states that’s been open. I would wait until a little closer to decide.

When do you plan on sending out invitations? September/October?

Oh okay so you’re not sending out actual invites? I think making a decision late September or October would be fine

Generally, at your reception, you do not invite those at an earlier wedding if you had 40-50. If you started with a 5-10 person family only marriage, and maybe went to dinner, the as key family and no reception, they would go to a later reception along with those who missed the original small private ceremony. But if you had a small reception for 50 they do not come back for a do o er. For a vow renewal later perhaps, but not a second reception. One wedding each guest, if the first has lots of guests, and virtual watchers who see yup, all those people were there once already.
