Which Color Tie Goes Best?

My bridesmaids are wearing light purple, groomsmen are wearing navy suits and light purple ties, and trying to decide what color tie FH should wear. The guys are all wearing brown shoes. Do you think it would look best if he wore a black tie or a gray tie? Or something else? Thanks!

    I would have him wear a navy tie. That's what my fiance is doing and all the groomsmen will be wearing ties in the bridesmaid dress color.
    Navy tie, navy suit, and white pocket square looks really classic and crisp.

    Completely agree! This is what I am doing as well. I am also having the GM in ties and my FH in a bow tie so he stands out as different even more.
