I always recommend doing some research about average pricing of vendors first to help set your budget! Lots of couples experience sticker shock for wedding prices.

Congrats when I started I first started deciding on date guest list and venue! i chose these to starts because I felt that the date would impact my location based on outside inside due to weather and also the guest list will also impact the venue small venues can only hold so many people! I also from these tried to cap an amount y I didnt want to spend over on the venue. from there I went to colors and what kind of decor I wanted and also the wedding party!

Venue is a big one, especially if there's only so many places to book in your home town. My venue had a pretty wide range on size so we didn't have to decide a guest list right away. I simply started listing potential guests early to show my fiance that based on our family sizes there's no such thing as a "small" wedding and it won't be cheap
