Where to print signs

Genny, on March 1, 2021 at 3:21 PM Posted in Community Conversations 1 11
I have purchased signage from Etsy. I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on where to go for very affordable printing on large prints (like 16x20)? I am also wondering what is best to purchase so the signs are thick enough to not need frames? Thanks!

OfficeMax/Depot and Staples do this for local businesses regularly. Sounds like you need an easel from Joann/Michaels

You can also see if you have any local print shops near you. From my experience, they are usually a very fair price, and so nice to work with!

I printed mine from Walgreens with a 50% off coupon code. It was super cheap! I believe 5-7 dollars. I then framed it with a poster frame from target. Where to print signs 1

Beautiful! Thank you so much! I put this one together for a friend's wedding with a frame from Walmart. I haven't done a sign without a frame yet.Where to print signs 2

    Hi ladies!

Anyone know what thickness of paper I need to print on so the sign stands up on it's own without a frame?

I've printed our welcome sign on foam board and then put it on an easle. Worked great, both inside and outside (we secured it with some tape, so it would not fly away). For anything bigger than 16x20 I would recommend foam board over paper if you don't want to use a frame.

I think I used gotprint.com after a lot of research since I didn't want to spent a ton. I was happy with their price, quality and service.

Here is a picture of our sign. Not the best picture but the only one I have.

Very pretty! I actually did the same with my Entrance sign. I did a 16x20 poster enlargement with a frame from Michaels.
