Where to get bridesmaid dresses?

Cori, on June 26, 2017 at 11:00 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 19

I'm looking for affordable and different bridesmaid dresses. Trying to avoid davids bridal for this one.

I've heard Azazie is a great site to get bridesmaids dresses. I'm trying to avoid DB as well.

A lot of bridal stores now have bridesmaid dresses. Also usually they have deals if you buy your wedding dress their they will give you like 20%off or something

I was trying to keep the cost low for my bridesmaids. We ended up going with David's bridal because I found the same dress we originally picked for $30 but a different color. Get on their email and check the sales or discontinued colors.

Lulus has good prices, free shipping and free returns which is great for buying online

Second Lulus.com. We got ours for about $67 and they come in in under a week with free shipping (and free returns). The only thing though is their dresses (and sizes) go in and out of stock a lot so if you guys find something you love - don't wait on it!

Lulus.com is great and has stellar customer service. I'd also recommend checking out Show Me Your Mumu if you don't want a "typical" BM dress.

Definitely Lulu's! I was MOH in a wedding where we got our dresses from JC Penny. They were cute cocktail dresses, and were about $60. So maybe try department stores as well.

No Union Station. Myself and other bridesmaids had a horrible experience with them for a friends wedding (sizing and quality issues). If you do online go with Azazie, lots of girls on here have had great luck with them.

Online on eBay (ONLY buy from US sellers). $40 dresses, same quality as DB but spent $120 LESS. It helps that I've been a buyer and seller on eBay for 9 years now, so i know the ins and outs

Azazie is good, lulus, basically everything everyone has said. I'd wait a while before picking dresses though, styles will change.

FWIW my BM dresses came from DB and we had no problems, I have girls in 6 different states, they went in to their local store, got measured, tried on the sample and ordered. They came in and everyone's fits, just need to be hemmed mostly.

Dress Barn has nice dresses if you don't mind short ones. We found something nice that works with the 40 yr old and the 20 somethings..
