Where to find the curtain style backdrop?!

Brittany, on October 26, 2019 at 12:59 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11
Where do people buy these types of backdrops for the arches or behind the sweetheart table? I'm not sure if you can get them on Amazon or where is the best place to buy them? I added pictures and am just looking for white ones. Thanks!

Our rental company where we rented the chuppah did ours. I just showed them a picture of what I wanted.

It is almost like the sheer fabric. You could probably find some at a fabric store if you were just planning on draping it.

Amazon has white ones similar to the pink you posted. I would check home goods or something similar for sheer curtains and draping fabrics. If you think about it..its pretty much the same thing as a window covering.

See if your venue has any options like that or something you could add to, or see if they have a preferred vendor list for decorations like that? The preferred vendors list has been SO helpful for us. Also I have seen officiants that offer chuppahs as a part of their package.

I would try Etsy. the problem might be figuring out what size you need.

there are also vendors who have stuff like this. I did basically a DIY wedding but i couldn't for the life of me put my ceremony decorations together piece by piece. so i hired a company specifically to decorate my ceremony and then to move the arch decor inside to my sweetheart table.

You can buy these on Amazon, Etsy, or rent them from your local events company. We have a place here that even rents out full-on gazebos. I believe Hobby Lobby also rents out arches, and you can buy arches at Michael's, too. But I think they're all standard tunnel-shaped 'arches' and not the square-shaped ones.

We bought a photography backdrop stand on Amazon and then used dip-dyed sheets that we made into curtains by sewing on a large hem. Then we draped that with tulle and added hanging flowers. But we wanted a full-on backdrop to use as our "photo booth" after the wedding was over so we purposefully added the sheets so that it wasn't see-through.

Definitely check with your venue or vendors first. But if you're DIY'ing like me, you can also just buy tulle or chiffon at your local crafting store and drape it onto a stand or arch. Amazon also sells a bunch of tulle backdrops for this purpose. Just type in "tulle backdrop" into your Amazon search bar and a bunch will pop up - remember to read reviews to find the best ones!

Your florist might be able to do it. Ours did.
