Where to buy Veils?!

Kelsey, on June 22, 2021 at 4:36 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13

Hi everyone! Smiley smile

I have been searching high and low for a nice veil! I don't want to spend $500+ on one, but I want it to be good quality and not cheap looking. Where did you buy your veils, or where is a good place to look?

Amazon and Etsy both have a lot of affordable options.

There are many recommendations for Etsy. Be careful with Amazon because of third party vendors who sell not so great stuff

I got mine for $50 on Amazon. Just read the reviews. I got a veil that looked identical to the $300 veil I tried on at the bridal salon.

My seamstress made my veil for me. Check with yours to see if they can make one for you that will go with your dress.

What kind of veil are you looking for? Honestly Amazon and Etsy have some super affordable options.

If you are looking for a simple tulle veil with no embellishments you can find them on Amazon for $50 or less. The fingertip length veil I wore for my elopement was less than $15 and you couldn't distinguish it from the $500 veils I saw elsewhere. Just read reviews first, and be sure there are some detailed photos of the comb - you'll get a sense of how the veil is attached to the comb, whether the comb is metal or plastic (metal is better IMO), and whether the edge is cut nicely.

If you want something with lace, pearls, or beading then I'd look at Etsy. They have sellers who have veils in the $30-$150 range (depending on length) that are gorgeous.

It's completely insane to spend hundreds of dollars on veil IMO. Unless you are looking for something custom and super elaborate, you can easily find something for less than $200.

Etsy! I got one of mine from Bridals by Teri. Other brides here said great things about Blanca Veils too.
