We’ll hopefully be able to finally take ours next summer (postponed twice now). Since it’ll be almost 2 years later, we added another week to our itinerary. It’ll now be 3 weeks in Ireland, Scotland, and England, with a day trip to Paris in there as well.

Not entirely sure we'll be allowed to take ours, since currently borders are closed between the states in Australia and you can't travel more than 5km where we live, but we have booked Tasmania.

We have plans to take a helicopter over some of the national parks before they drop us to have a private lunch at a restaurant, we want to go on various wine tasting tours, visit a lavender farm, have some fresh seafood and have some spa treatments.

I had always dreamed my honeymoon would be in some of my favourite places in Greece, Italy or the South of France, so I really had to talk myself into Tasmania and not getting to have the honeymoon I had wished for has probably been the hardest part of planning a covid-wedding.

But, then we went into lockdown, had to postpone our original wedding date, and accept that we might not even get to go as far as Tasmania. It's been a wild ride!

We were hoping for New Zealand, but with COVID it isn’t an option. We are now doing 3 Hawaii islands instead.

Saint Thomas! Getting married this October but not going on the honeymoon until Christmas. It’s been so nice not having to stress about planning both and being ready for an immediate departure after the wedding

Mexico! We got married at our microwedding last year and spent a long weekend at the National Harbor in Washington DC since everything was shut down. We finally get to have our reception this year and we are going to Mexico 2 days later.

We're planning on St Lucia, we're getting married in Sept 2022, and not going until Feb/Mar 2023 though.

We want to go to Spain but we're also very worried about traveling during Covid- also my FH doesn't do well on planes. That's a VERY long flight from Los Angeles.

Some alternatives I've been floating around him are driving up to Big Sur or Carmel. We also floated the idea to take a road trip up the west coast and attend soccer games at San Jose, Portland, and Seattle. As long as we're relaxing and together it will be awesome

We love comedians so we are doing Just For Laughs x Cancun, a comedy destination event. Some of our favorite comedians will be there like Tom Segura, Steve-O, and Nikki Glaser. There will be live podcasts and, of course, lots of comedy shows. We can't wait!

Well, after our fully vaccinated friend landed in the Dominican Republic, tested positive for COVID (even though she had tested negative 48 hours earlier (and also had COVID in Dec.) and was hauled away by 3 men in HazMat suits to spend her honeymoon alone under lockdown, we cancelled our plans to leave the USA and will be spending our honeymoon in Key West. Please check your travel insurance as theirs "didn't cover Pandemics" and they received zero refunds for their ruined honeymoon.

Yikes! That is so crappy and obviously the risk you take in this day and age traveling internationally. Knock on wood that doesn't happen to us.. what an awful way to spend money and have it be ruined by something they were looking forward to Smiley sad

I suggest getting a Disney travel agent for your first time! I can give you the one my family has used for years. They are absolutely FREE and can get you set up with a dining package, fast passes, etc. You just let her know how much you want to spend plus everything you want to do, see, and eat and she will give you an itinerary. Plus, they will get you whatever discounts are available at the moment.
