Hi everyone!
I know I have a bit of a particular vision for my dress, but I'm having a hard time finding a ton of options in this general style! I've tried on so many dresses, and I found that this silhouette has been the thing that made me feel the most excited and special.
I'm looking for a structured mermaid gown in a silk or mikado like fabric with the type of flare that I would describe as having a clear distinction of where it flares out, like these pictures- very fitted at the top and past the butt, and at the bottom maybe seams or appliqué strategically placed to distinguish and accentuate where the flare starts (many times in an upward v-shape in the front).
The kicker is I would love for it to not be solid or "plain", which makes this REALLY hard to find. I love when it looks embroidered, or like a jacquard fabric with lace appliqué, etc. A plus if it has features or detailing that emphasize an hourglass visual (like lines or appliqué curving down at your thighs), and if it's strapless so I can add the type of neckline/sleeves that I want. My dream neckline is portrait where it's not quite off the shoulder, but resting at the edge of your shoulder (like in the last picture) 😅 The last dress is a Stella York I'm interested in trying on to see how the flare looks!
I know all of my dream details are pretty specific and hard to find together, and maybe you can tell by how I'm describing it all that I'm still learning how to articulate everything. But any help or tips on designers you can throw my way will be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you so much!!!
