Where are you in the planning process?

Besides paying off a few vendors that we've already hired, I still need to take in my dress for alterations at the end of the month and shop for accessories. I also need to find HAMU!

When you say HAMU are you referring to hair and makeup artist? Is so, are you not using the person from you engagement pictures?

Maybe a small pop of color but I'm not sure how I feel about using her again just because she's normally a bit eccentric with her make up and even though I told her what I really wanted, she did the opposite. I still feel weird looking at my engagement photos.

Aww man, that sucks. I'm definitely using my same MUA that did my engagement pictures and minimony. I'll be using the same hairstylist for my minimony as well most likely.

Just sucks they don't also do make up cause I'd have to find someone else but they seem like the best choice for hair to go with that I've seen. I'm VERY skeptical when it comes to people in my hair so I might just have to do that.

Well that's good, and I am picky when it comes to my hair as well I only let certain people touch it lol. Hopefully you will be able to find a good MUA that actually listens to your request.

Still trying to find a venue for our minimony in April. I have my outfit but still looking for his and our boys' outfits and I can't go past that without having a venue locked down. I'm slightly hoping our City Hall will open so we can just do it there but I doubt it so working on a plan B.

For our October wedding, everything is pretty much done with the exception of locking down a cake, picking procession and bridal entrance songs, and where our rehearsal dinner will be.

I was thinking a hotel. We didn't want to spend too much on a venue for this one since we're paying so much for the big wedding but I could definitely look. Its on a weekday, its only for a couple of hours, we really just want something small. Thanks for the tip!
