Where are my glasses brides at?

Tiffany, on April 4, 2020 at 3:33 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 10
Just wanted to share this gorgeous sneak peek from our quick, intimate ceremony on Monday! And also to share that my husband and I both wore our glasses and we didn’t mind at all, and that so far the pictures look great! He has transition lenses so I am a little nervous they’ll look super dark in some more pictures. He has contacts he could’ve worn, but I’ve never owned contacts and I’ve had glasses since kindergarten. I thought about not wearing glasses for my wedding or taking them off for pictures but I’m glad I didn’t because I feel so much more comfortable when I can actually see 😂Where are my glasses brides at? 1

I wear glasses and I bought a clear/natural pair to wear next year. I’ve never been able to wear CO tact’s comfortably. I plan to only wear them during the dancing /party portions of the reception. I love my glasses but I don’t want to look back at my pictures and see them.

I'll be starting the day in my contacts...but I know shortly into the reception my glasses will be on. I wear glasses normally so I want pictures with me looking like my normal self. I don't want all of my pictures to not look like I normally would.

Omg thank you for posting this!! So glad to hear you wore your glasses, the photo is gorgeous. People keep telling me I should lean toward no glasses for the big day but they are a part of me and one of my fiancé’s favorite things about me. Glad to see it worked for you, I think I’m sticking to them! I have a pair with really natural frames I think will work well.

I've worn glasses more than half my life and I'll definitely be wearing them the day of the wedding. I bought a special pair for the wedding and I cannot wait to wear them!

I also have worn glasses since like 3rd grade. Mine are currently transition glasses as well. I don't particularly want to wear them on the big day, but on the other hand can't see beyond a foot without them. Never wore contacts don't plan on it now, but I am definately self conscious of walking down tte aise wearing glasses. Oh well, I guess my fiance fell in love with me glasses and all so thats what matters

I've worn glasses for years, as well, and I wore mine to my wedding! I was asked if I was going to wear them or not, and the thought of not wearing them never crossed my mind. They are a part of me, plus there's no one really besides my mom and my hubby who's ever seen me without them for any period of time. (Plus I'm terrified of putting in contacts so I never would've done that even if I didn't wear my glasses, lol.)
