I personally handed them envelopes with tips when they arrived because I knew it was going to be a crazy day and didn't want to forget to bring it to the venue or forget to give it to them in general

I’m giving them the tips before they leave, and giving them to either my mom or my MOH so I won’t forget.

Hi Stephanie! In the past I've seen that most people give them their tips either before they leave or after they've received their final products! I like the idea above of giving it to them before the craziness begins so that way you don't forget!

I plan to send any tip after I receive my final product... I know too many people who tipped the day of and got their photos late and/or not exactly what was promised. My photographer also owns her own business so I'm not exactly sure what I plan to do.

It’s a personal preference. No you don’t have to if they own their own business but some people choose to. I have Decided i want To.

I agree with You Stephanie! It’s a personal preference, really! But how much does it cost to tip a wedding vendor: the average list.

To avoid the hustle and bustle of the wedding day, it is better to make a list of those who should tip at your wedding. You are no longer university students to leave custom essay for the last day. You have to do this written work and You need to put a cash tip in envelopes well in advance of your wedding after. If possible, you can give a tip to your vendors on the wedding day or in advance (on the wedding day it may be impossible - you will be very busy ;-). You can ask, as described in PapersOwl, that your wedding planner or a member of your wedding party be responsible for handing out tips, which must be given out after the service is provided.

Check out this list below to help you decide how much to tip your wedding suppliers. Although you need to consider that not all suppliers of weddings traditionally receive a tip!).

Hair and Makeup - hair and makeup pros should receive 15 to 20 percent of their fee.

Catering - tip 15 to 20 percent of the food bill.

Wait Staff - each server should receive about $20 or more.

Bartenders - should receive 10 to 15 percent of the total bar tab.

Wedding Planner- you may tip 10 to 20 percent.

Photographer and Videographer - tipping them $100 to $200 is a nice gesture.

Officiant If your officiant is affiliated with a house of worship, give an additional donation of $100 to $300 to his/her institution. For a civil officiant, you may tip $50 to $100.

Ceremony Musicians and/or Wedding Band each player should be tipped $25 to $50.

DJ Your wedding DJ not only plays music but often serves as the emcee for the evening he or she should receive 10 to 15 percent of the total bill.

Transportation Couples may hire a transportation company to transport themselves, their family members, and/or guests - tipping 15 to 20 percent is appropriate.

Delivery Staff - it’s definitely a hard job, give $5 to $20 per person.

Other Attendants give $1 to $2 per guest for restroom and coatroom attendants.

Parking Attendants - $1 to $2 per car. Guests should not be permitted to give cash tips to parking attendants.
