When to start trying on a dress?

Shawnna, on December 28, 2019 at 11:49 AM Posted in Planning 0 15
So I'm looking at all different types of dresses, I would love to know if a year in a half is to early to start trying on dresses?

I personally don't think it's too long to start trying on dresses. I started trying on around 15 months out from my wedding. I purchased about a year out. I would say to maybe wait to purchase closer to a year out if you find one you love, just in case something else crosses your plate.

Post of pics of dresses you like! We’d love to see. 💜

FYI, dresses typically take 6-9 months to arrive. Then you should start 1st alterations about 2 months before your wedding. David’s Bridal dresses seem to come in a lot faster, as I’ve seen here.

This is beautiful! Love a belt with bling on this dress. Is it comfy too? It seems princess/queen like but still light to move in (and dance in!).

I don't think it's too early. I tried on dresses almost 2 years before my wedding xD. I ended up changing that one for a new one in November, but still a year and a half out. And now I know I got the right one and I'm happy and I know that no matter what happens with the rest of the planning process, I have something to wear.
