I agree with PP - mid 2021 is probably a good time to start. Guest lists are constantly being altered up until things are ready to be sent out. Good luck!

You don't need to start working on your guest list until you plan on looking at wedding venues. Venues aren't booking 3 years in advance so you still have plenty of time. For now, just enjoy being engaged.

I can't imagine any venues are going to allow you to book this early. Also, before you book a venue you should have a rough draft at least of your guest list to make sure your venue can accommodate the number of people that you plan to invite.

You can, but you won't be able to book anything yet. Plus with the pandemic some places might go out of business.

Yes, I have seen your other posts and I think you are trying to plan way too early. Also, I see that your date is a Monday so I would make sure that you don't have a lot of out of town guests because a Monday wedding wouldn't be very convenient if you have a lot of out of town people attending.

I was engaged for 11 months and for me I think that was the perfect amount of time to plan a wedding. I didn't have a wedding planner, but I wouldn't have hired anyone as early as you did. Not sure why you are waiting so long to get married, but I would wait until your wedding is closer to start planning things. I also wouldn't have a Monday wedding unless all of my guests were in town and the wedding was very short because people have work that day and after.

I think you could make a rough draft, to give yourself a sense of size so you can budget plan. Since it’s so far out, I’d add an additional 5-10% to cover new relationships that may develop during your engagement (other singles get in a relationship, new friends etc).
