Wedding isn’t until 2022. When should I start buying things? Give me all the advice you can!

Girl start now !!! Things start adding up very quickly. Get as much done as you can ahead if time. I secured my date/venue 20 months before
My wedding and I ordered my invitations the same week and started buying items right away. Every pay check I get something.

I would get things as you see them as long as you are set on your vision for that day. It will help spread out the expenses if you have longer to purchase things.

I started buying right after I got engaged. If certain things were on sale we just bought it just to get it out of the way and get the deals!

We started 19 months out. It helped to take advantage of black friday deals & holiday sales, and just spread out spending that much money.

Yes! Do it. Start shopping for your venue ASAP. Once you a have you’re date and your decor/theme then you can start buying things and securing vendors. The earlier start the more likely you can get whatever vendor you like. Also download the thumbtack App and itll help you find vendors and see there previous work and reviews.

I bought things 2 years out I knew i would use no matter what. Candles, stamps, jewelry, shoes. I bought other decor and my dress at 18 months since I was moving across the country and needed to leave it at my parents house.

I posted about this not too long ago. I’d say the most said they bought when they settled on a color scheme/theme and found what they wanted. It’s much easier to buy things in increments rather than all at once. We started buying things last month for our October 2020 wedding. We don’t have much to get since our venue handles almost everything but our personalized items.
