When to Send Invites/RSVP Deadline

I sent my invites August 26, so about 8 weeks before, with an RSVP date of September 23, which was about two weeks before my final numbers were due. Only had to track down a handful of people who didn't RSVP.

Ok cool, that is what I needed to know, so that would equal me sending them out January 15th and having a response date of March 15th. Perfect! Thank you Dextor3000!

I sent ours out 8 weeks before with a RSVP date of 10 days before the final count was due so:

Invites sent - Oct 2nd

RSVP deadline - Nov 10

Final Count due Nov 20

Wedding Date - Dec 2nd

@QueSeraSera, that's nice your final count due was only 2 weeks! Mine is 30 days :-( I feel like that's long lol.

Oh wait, I totally misunderstand, people are sending out 2 months before the wedding, NOT when the RSVP date is due right? So then I would send out invitations Feb 15th? That's just under 10 weeks. So send out Feb 15th, responses due March 15th, that gives me like 10 days to track down RSVP's. Does that seem reasonable? I def don't want to send the invites out too far ahead of time.

Invites are sent out 6-8 weeks before the wedding, not the RSVP due date.

I sent mine out 9 weeks out. My RSVP due date was 2 weeks before my final numbers were due (which was a week and a half before the wedding).
