When to send invitations out?

Mid October is good. I think 6 weeks is generally how long you should give your guests to RSVP so that sounds like perfect timing!

My wedding is Nov. 9 and I sent mine out mid August just to give plenty of time (since most of my guest are out of town and some out of country)

6-8 weeks before the wedding date is typically when invitations are sent. However, your RSVP date is pretty early. So I would probably send towards the end of October making it closer to the 8-9 week mark. If you send too early guests will forget to RSVP or lose your invitation.
