When To Reach Out to a Florist?

I still have quite a ways to Wedding day, and while I know the venue/dj/band/photographer/videographer are all really important to book sooner as they book quickly.

So I was curious, what is the best time to reach out to a florist? I'm of the mind to reach out and get quotes from different vendors right away, but I know prices change. Thanks in advance!

    Since your wedding is not on a holiday, a year in advance should be plenty of time.

    Your florist will gladly meet with you at a year but probably won't advise strict decision until about six-four months prior.

    I booked my florist today (so about 7 months out). I gave her a deposit but won't decide anything final until a few months before!

    I reached out to my florist about 15 months out. She told me to reach back out a year out. We met about 11 months out and she gave me quotes. I then put the deposit down, but didn't really decide anything until 5 months out.

    I'd say you can research who you want, but wait until August to start reaching out.

    I booked my florist in May so a year out. I brought my favorite Pinterest inspiration pictures and she came up with something based on that.
