When to pick out tuxes???

Lauren, on August 26, 2019 at 11:22 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
I'm getting married in April 2020. We just picked out the bridesmaid dresses but when should we go pick out tuxes? Any tips on how this process works would be super helpful!

My wedding is April 2020 as well! All the groomsmen went and put down-payments down for their suits already! They will be getting fit in November/December for them!

We ended up having the guys purchase suits from Jos A Banks - we were able to catch a $199 deal on one of their nicer suit lines so we locked in on that price. The guys all had to go into a store and get measured and pay up front, and then the suits will be delivered (estimated 4 - 7 days) and can be tailored (estimated 2 weeks). We're getting married in early October, and I think our last guy went in this past weekend. It feels tight for me, but they assured us they still have plenty of time.

We picked out tuxes last weekend for our May 2020 wedding at Men's Wearhouse. They can go anytime between now and April 30th to get fitted and pay. Technically you have time, but we wanted our guys to know the exact cost and have enough time to plan ahead for it!

We used the black tux and started the process in October for our December wedding.

We picked out suits about 8 months in advance.
