When to order suits??

FH ordered his 2 months prior because it was a custom made suit. His GMs followed shortly after- he did have one just order his and we’re 28 days away. 4-6 weeks is usually fine with the men. We used men’s warehouse

Four months is my date to make the guys all be sized (they tend to procrastinate). Then I have time to order whenever my local bridal consultant recommends based on company, amount of stuff your getting or renting and ensuring there is at least one appintment made for the guys alterations the week of the wedding to fix last minute stuff especially if they live out of town. (Keep in mind I am a very punctual prepared person so if you add time to all that you'l probably still be good but I do better having wiggle room to fix huge errors)

We ordered our suits in October for our December wedding. We used an online place called theblacktux.com which I highly recommend especially since you have guys in different states.

FH is going today, 5 months out so he has his suit picked before BMs have their dresses. It's a little early but if I don't do it today then FH and I won't both be available for another 6 weeks between work and travel for both of us. And my FH can't be trusted to shop for himself, he'll never go.

My FH is getting measured and ordering his today, but he’s been trying to loose weight. If he’s a stable weight I would say 3-4 months .

We used gentux (online rental) and H rented his about 2 months before the wedding, one groomsmen ordered his about 3 weeks before the wedding. No issues.

For our February 2nd wedding, the guys will go get fitted the last week of December.
