I want to give my parents as well as my future in-laws a thank you gift but not sure when this is usually exchanged. My parents are paying for a large majority of my wedding and I definitely want to get them very special and sentimental gifts as a thank you. FH's parents have also insisted on paying for our cake so I wanted to get them thank you gifts as well but wasn't sure when people traditionally give their gifts.
My parents will be with me when I am getting ready so giving them their gifts before the ceremony would not be an issue.
My MIL and FIL will not be in the room while I get ready and I do not think I will even see FIL until we take our pictures or after the ceremony and at that point things will be pretty hectic. When do people traditionally give their gifts to their future in-laws?
