When to book our honeymoon

Really depends on how elaborate of a trip you're planning. The sooner the better in my opinion, I'm a planner and I like to play it safe. That being said I did cancel our original honeymoon plan that I booked last month because I changed my mind lol. I think I'll book again within the next couple of months or so!

We started making decisions on budget, location & date 9-12 months out then I started booking hotels & excursions & flights 3-6 months out.

Like others said, it really depends on where/when you are going. For flights, I would recommend the Hopper or Skyscanner apps. They compare the prices of flights to help get you the best deal.

I have the same month for our honeymoon, and all travel agents I've talked to said to wait until december of this year, because that's when flight prices become available.

Usually a year out is pretty good but it really depends. How elaborate will your honeymoon be?? Trying to plan a lot or keep it simple?? How much do you have to save for the honeymoon you're expecting to have?? My FH and I already have our honeymoon booked but due to hurricane season at the time we're getting married, we had to book it for an even later date which puts us in 2021.

We started booking things about 10 or 11 months out and it’s worked well for us! We’ve got our Airbnb’s and resort booked as well as flights.
