I am 5 months until the wedding and I am wondering when I should start tanning? When should I also do my last an before the wedding (a week or so?)??

I suppose it would depend on your skin type, whether or not you tan quickly. For me, if I'm in the midst of a winter pale, I can get the tan I want within a few good sessions, so maybe a month and a half - two months? You could always start tanning now just to make sure you get to the shade you want, and maintain it with a trip whenever you feel like it's starting to fade.

If you're really set on tanning in a bed, which I would never recommend, I would consult with someone who specializes in it. It's really dependent on your skin type and your tanning experiences in the past. I would recommend spray tanning for obvious reasons.

I get that but this is the one and only time I will use a tanning bed and it will only be a few times. I want to even out my tan and get a few shades darker. I’ve done spray tans in the past and hated the way I felt and looked also it ruined clothes even after 24hrs and several showers. So for the big day I really don’t want to risk it and feel uncomfortable. Thank you for your concern and your advice😊

I am getting married 9/21 & I have been going to a tanning bed on & off since March. I used to tan in high school so I knew it would take me a while to get tan. I also only go twice a week also. I would start low & then work your way up because you don't want to burn, just tan.

I'm a pretty tan person normally, I tan easily in the sun and never burn. So I started bed tanning (I know it's bad, I rarely do it - like less than once a year - and never burn) 2 months out and went several times a week. My last tanning session was 1 week prior. I'm in the sun anyway for my job.
