When should i propose to my bridesmaids?

I think now is the perfect time to think of people and make lists. Because you have some time, think about those ppl that are consistent. If you feel confident about it, start up a general convo with your bff and get a feel for how she may feel about that responsibility. I got engaged Aug 2019, booked date Sept 2019, bridesmaid proposals in November 2019. Just as an idea. Congratulations!

9-12 months before your wedding. Friendships change and there are too many stories on here of people who regret asking their bridesmaids too early and then wanting to fire them.

I think it’s ok to ask now if they are family or lifelong friends. I wouldn’t ask someone now whose friendship has been short, or who is a brother’s girlfriend etc.

You can ask siblings or family members that you are extremely close (almost in a sibling like way) whenever you would like! You're kind of "stuck" with family in a way for life, so those relationships usually stand the test of time (in most cases).

For friends, I wouldn't ask until a year out. Friendships can change quickly, so take time and make sure they are the ones you want beside you on your day!
