When should I have my Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party?

My bridal shower is about 3 months before my wedding. That's when the hosts were available.

My bachelorette is about 2 months before my wedding. They took my schedule into consideration because I'm a teacher and planned it at the end of the summer before I go back to school.

When someone offers to throw you a party. It is considered inappropriate to throw a party in your own honor.

It didn't sound like she was planning her own, but rather that her family was asking for input on possible dates.

My shower was last weekend. A month before my wedding. And my bachelorette is also a surprise and hasn't happened yet. I'm thinking two weekends before...I know next weekend is FH's bachelor party so is not then, lol

My shower is June 11. So, just under two months before my wedding.

Bachelorette can be whenever u want especially if its out of the country. I've been to bachelorettes a few months in advance due to scheduling conflicts .. Shower is typically 1-3 Mnths prior to wedding
