Winter weddings are the way to go! i would not want to get married when it's cold out but the snow is beautiful and the colors are great and there is a lot of DIY stuff to be done... also you can get so much stuff at great prices for decorations (snowflake theme or christmas colors) and you can give ornaments as your favors.... the possibilities are endless. with all that being said i prefer spring/summer for myself! fall weddings are nice too b/c those colors are great! depends on what you want for sure!

When it came to picking a month to get married, my only requirement was that there was no chance of our being hot. I hate the heat. I knew my photographer would get amazing shots no matter what kind of weather it was. And honestly, it can be rainy or nasty any season of the year. It's the luck of the draw. Certain times of year have premium charges on them. I got engaged in March and wanted at least 6 months to plan, so we looked at late fall and early winter because I knew all the October dates would be booked up. We ended up getting married November 22, 2013 in the Philadelphia area and it was 60 degrees that day. A few days before, it was in the 20's. You just never know, so just pick a date that works and don't stress too much about the rest.

Oh no I hate the winter and the cold. Plus that means I would have to wear I coat. Not my cup of tea. I think June or July or Sept for us.

We're doing mid-May. It's usually not too hot-not too cold by then in Virginia.

We're just south of Philly and we picked July for a lot of reasons: mostly July is considered an "off season" wedding month around here so great discounts, both FH and I are still in school so it had to be while we were on break, and my son's birthday is July 18, so I didn't want to be on my honeymoon during his birthday.

    March of course! lol.

Im in the south so May-October is soooo hot. And Nov-Jan are "holiday months". And Feburary is still kind of too cold. So March it was...
